Growing, in-demand group practice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our team for a part-time position of 25+ hours per week. You must be on an LCSW track and hold a NJ LSW. Most of the work will be with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, or general life adjustment challenges. Trauma experience or interest is a plus. Interest in training in EMDR is a plus. Experience with children or couples is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess a valid U.S. driver's license and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health care. We are looking for someone who will fit in with the friendly, drama-free, client-focused atmosphere we have built. You will have the opportunity to grow and learn from highly experienced trauma professionals. You must be a self starter who can easily interface with your colleagues. Your personality of engagement skills with people is more important than your years of experience. We are looking to hire someone cool who is great with people and wants to learn as much as they can about being a great therapist.

We pay a competitive hourly rate for the LSW license ($40+ per hour)

We pay for your supervision ($4000+/yr)

We pay for your CEU’s and trainings ($1000’s)

We offer two weeks paid time off ($2000+)

We pay 50% of health insurance over 20 hours a week and 100% over 25 hours a week ($4000/yr)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions
  • Work with children and adults
  • Assess patient needs through intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs
  • Engage in crisis management in rare cases of emergency
  • Document medical records accurately, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding, while adhering to medical terminology standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or related field required; current LSW licensure is mandatory.
  • Experience working with individuals is preferred. Experience with couples and children is welcome.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches is necessary. Prior EMDRIA EMDR training is a major plus.
  • Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and experience with patient assessment processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical setting while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
